Day 12: Azofra to Santo Domingo, 15.1 kilometers

Rooster kept in a cage in the church in Santo Domingo to remind visitors of young man unfairly accused of stealing who was hung, but didn't die. And when parents begged for their son's release, the king said their child was as dead as the chicken he was eating. The chicken came to life and the son was released.
