We've been asked how one finds one's way walking the Camino. It turns out it's pretty easy. All along the route are signs guiding the peregrinos. They uniformity use an image of a shell and arrow, usually in yellow, indicating the direction. But over the miles and in the different regions these signs change. Below is one of the newest such signs and below it are other examples of the markers that have been our guideposts.
This is the most traditional marker one finds.
Sometimes it is simply a yellow arrow painted on a city sidewalk or a tree in the countryside.
Some cities imbedded their own markers in the pavement.
So impressive! Looks like you are 2/3 of the way there or more? You're missing a heat wave in NM, 100 degrees during the day, but cool at night, of course. Sending hugs to you both. Hoping your feet are holding out.
